Paddy is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with a comprehensive educational background and practical experience in sports physiotherapy. Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2020, Paddy has furthered his expertise with courses including dry needling, sports physiotherapy level 1 and 2 and strength and conditioning. Paddy has also completed a vestibular rehabilitation course and is seeing patients suffering from conditions such as BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, vestibular migraine and cervicogenic dizziness.
With a particular interest in hip and ankle injuries as well as soft tissue injuries, Paddy excels in treating runners and athletes involved in field sports. His approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, ensuring that each patient receives individualised care tailored to their specific needs.
During his tenure as the team physiotherapist for the New Lambton NPL side, Paddy has successfully managed the physical health of athletes, focusing on injury prevention, effective treatment strategies, and comprehensive rehabilitation programs. This role has honed his skills in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and enhance athletic performance.
Paddy also has experience managing patients with work related injuries and general aches and pains. He works hard to assist patients to understand the cause of their pain and address it. Paddy is able to assist patients to navigate the complex work cover system and help people stay as active as possible during their recovery.
Outside of professional pursuits, Paddy enjoys surfing and actively participates in strength and conditioning training. He also participated in high level sports growing up including surf life saving, swimming and rugby league.
Paddy is available Monday to Thursday’s from 11am – 7pm and Friday’s 7am – 3pm.
