Ben graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2015.
During his studies, Ben worked at Lingard Private Hospital within the rehabilitation ward. He gained valuable experience with postoperative procedures, allowing him to develop his knowledge in patient specific exercise prescription and hydrotherapy.
Ben has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and has had the opportunity to work with the Central Coast Rugby 7’s international tournament and local rugby union and soccer clubs within the Hunter.
After graduating he worked within a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy practice in Wollongong. During this time he also worked with the NYC under 20’s Illawarra Dragons, University of Wollongong Rugby club and West’s Red Devils Rugby League Football Club.
As a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Ben has developed skills through additional studies in dry needling, sports strapping, level one sports trainer certificate and continued professional development in back pain and shoulder injuries.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing any form of sport he can get involved in and spending time with his wife and new golden retriever puppy.
