Kathryn is a trained Vestibular physio with an interest in BPPV, vertigo and balance issues.
Kathryn has been at Regent Street Physiotherapy since 2002. She graduated with a Science degree from the University of NSW in 1979, a Post Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1980 and Graduate Diploma in Sports Science in 1987 – both from Cumberland College of Health Science (now part of Sydney University).
She has worked extensively in both hospital and private practices in Sydney, Broken Hill, Maitland and Newcastle.
Kathryn has a special interest in treating Vestibular Disorders including BPPV, Vestibular Neuritis, and concussion related balance issues. She has successfully completed Vestibular Training in Adelaide under Professor Margie Sharpe and colleagues, as well as both the Basic and Advanced Vestibular Courses run by Dr Susan Herdman and Dr Courtney Hall from the United States.
In addition to treating vestibular clients, Kathryn enjoys treating headache, tendinopathy and lumbopelvic/hip issues. She continues to expand her base by attending update courses in these areas.
Kathryn is an ex-hockey player who enjoys bushwalking. She has three adult children and two young grandsons and is a keen Sydney Swans Supporter.
Her general hours are: Tuesday 8.30am – 3.30pm, Thursday 1.30pm – 6.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 11.30am.
