Jessica is our rehab physio with a special interest in injury prevention.
Jess graduated with Honours from The University of Newcastle in 2013 and joined the team at Regent Street Physiotherapy following a graduate program at Calvary Mater Hospital.
Since this time Jess has gained extensive experience with local and representative sporting teams including Newcastle Netball Association, Netball NSW, the Australian Netball League, NSW Hockey, Hunter Women’s Rugby Union and NSW Rugby 7’s. She has also had experience working in athletics, BMX, water polo, rugby league, rugby union, distance running and soccer.
She has worked Internationally with the Australian Uniroos Women’s Rugby 7’s, the Merewether High School Sports Tour and the International Youth Sports Challenge Netball. In 2018, Jess was a physiotherapist at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in athletics, badminton and weightlifting.
Jess is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and is a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach. She has completed her dry needling, spinal and sports APA courses and a range of other professional development over the past few years. She is a member of the APA, Sports and Musculoskeletal special interest groups and Sports Medicine Australia.
Jess is our resident expert in sports pre-screening for injury prevention and has a special interest in recovery from exercise, knee and ankle injuries.
When not at work, Jess can be found in the gym or playing with her puppy Molly.
