Elliot graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2015.
During his studies, he gained valuable experience in a wide range of areas, including: rehabilitation, orthopaedics, cardiopulmonary, sports, musculoskeletal and emergency department physiotherapy.
Elliot has experience treating athletes from a variety of different sports, including rugby league, track and field, soccer, rugby union water polo, netball, swimming and triathlon.
His areas of interest include all sporting injuries; in particular those of the hip, knee, ankle and shoulder. Additional courses undertaken include: Sports Physiotherapy Level 1.
Elliot is a strong believer that if you are able to move well, then you can perform well in whatever activity you choose. Combined with this, he has an extensive knowledge of biomechanics, yet is able to explain your injury in a simple way that you can understand.
Elliot has spent time training as a track and field athlete and as such, understands the frustrations of being injured. Using this experience, he can assist you in recovering from your injury in a fast and effective way.
Outside of work, Elliot has a passion for the gym to keep fit and healthy. He also enjoys dining out at restaurants and tasting new coffee around Newcastle.
